Cutting the Marram
Well this is my jeep and trailer full of marram grass, you can see in the background the blocks areas i've cut in the dunes. Inbetween the area's i've cut i usually leave about 2 foot 'buffer zones' this reduces the risk of sand blow and damage to the dune system. The outhouse i'm working on will take about 3-4 trailer loads. I usually store the grass in my shed until there's a good thatching day
