This is the outhouse at Boreray Cottage, Clachan Sands which will be re-thatched very soon! just need some Marram, weather and its all go! this outhouse is used by the main cottage as a utility room which holds washing machine and dryer, its also used a storage. I will upload photos as im going along, should take about 2 weeks (weather permitting)

Can you teach how to thatch a roof with Palmetto in a video? It looks easy enough but the overlapping becomes a bit confusing for me. I can’t find anything on YouTube about it. palmeatto growes everwhere here in Tampa Bay Florida.
